Saddlery and equestrian repairs are assessed individually, especially where safety, load-bearing parts or riding use are involved. We advise honestly on the suitability of a repair for continued use.

Equestrian leather work requires a high level of skill and an understanding of the loads and stresses these items face in use. Our workshop has experience repairing saddles, bridles, reins and a wide range of horse tack using quality materials and sound techniques.

We take safety seriously. Any repair involving load-bearing components - stirrup leathers, girth straps, rein billets - is assessed carefully, and we will always advise honestly on whether a repair is appropriate for continued riding use.

Do you repair saddles?

Yes. We repair leather saddles including stitching, panel work, leather conditioning and structural repairs. Safety-critical parts are assessed with extra care and we advise honestly on suitability for riding use.

Do you repair bridles and reins?

Yes. Bridle and rein repair - stitching, buckles, leather conditioning and minor structural work - is something we handle regularly.

Can you repair other horse tack?

Yes. Headcollars, stirrup leathers, girth straps, martingales and other leather tack assessed individually.

Do you make new tack?

We focus primarily on repair and restoration rather than new manufacture. Please contact us to discuss specific requirements.

How do you handle safety-critical parts?

Saddlery and equestrian repairs involving load-bearing or safety-critical components are assessed with extra care. We will advise honestly on whether a repair is suitable for riding use.

Can I send tack by post?

Yes. Bridles, reins and smaller items can be posted. Saddles are better brought to our workshop. Send photos on WhatsApp first for an assessment.
