Repair prices.
An honest starting point.

Quoted after assessment. The price depends on the item, its construction and the work agreed. Photographs can help identify likely options, but some details need closer inspection before a quotation can be settled.

Guide prices by category.

“From” prices are a starting guide. The item, its condition and the work agreed determine the quotation after assessment. “Quote Required” means no guide amount is listed for that service.

Specialist Repairs

A quote for the item you have.

Two shoes with worn soles can need different work. Construction, remaining material and earlier repairs affect what can be done. A useful quotation follows an assessment of your item, rather than a price attached to a photograph of something similar.

Extent of the work

A worn surface, damaged supporting layer and failed attachment are different scopes. The quotation needs to identify which parts will be repaired or replaced.

Materials and compatible parts

Leather, sole material, zip dimensions and fittings must suit the construction. Availability and the required finish affect the proposed work.

Access and preparation

Reaching a concealed fixing or opening a lining may be part of a repair. Earlier adhesive, coatings or repairs can also affect the preparation needed.

The result you choose

A local repair and broader restoration can involve different work. Discuss which practical and visible changes matter to you before agreeing the scope.

Assessment arrangements

Visit the Banstead workshop or send your repair by post from anywhere in the UK. Include your contact details and return address with the item. Repair Atlas helps you explore the item before an enquiry; work, price and return arrangements are discussed with the studio.

Help us assess it.

  • Show the whole item and the area that has failed.
  • Tell us what you would like to keep or change.
  • Mention any previous repairs or products already applied.
  • Postal repairs are welcome from across the UK. Include contact details and a return address; ask about arrangements for bulky or unusual items.

Before work begins.

Every repair is quoted after assessment and agreed before work starts. Photographs can help an initial discussion; hidden layers and attachment points may still need a closer examination.

If the item needs inspection before a firm quotation, we will explain the next step. Ask the workshop to clarify the scope and any additional arrangements before proceeding.
