The Cobbler's Studio by YouGee is a specialist leather, footwear and repair studio in Banstead, Surrey - built on decades spent at the bench, not behind a counter. Every item that comes through the door is assessed individually, repaired by hand, and returned properly finished - never rushed, never guessed at.

Why a Specialist Studio
A high-street repair chain is built for speed - in and out while you wait. That works well for a quick heel tip or a new set of laces. It isn't built for a hand-stitched Goodyear welt, a vintage saddle that needs re-flocking, or a designer handbag whose lining has to be matched by eye. That work needs time, judgement, and someone who has actually done it before.
That's the gap this Studio fills: the repairs that get turned away elsewhere, or that get "fixed" in a way that doesn't last. Every item is assessed on its own terms - its construction, its materials, what the original maker intended - before any work begins. Nothing is rushed through a production line.
The Studio works both ways: in person in Banstead, and by post for customers anywhere in the UK who send photos first and a parcel second.
